Do people with this condition ever geel disgusted or grossed out? I heard they didn't, but i can't find anything to tell me if it is true or not.

Patrick Bateman does, but he is arguably a malignant narcissist, contrary to the title and popular belief. (much cooler than a psychopath anyway)

disgust is a very precious thing, if for a heartbeat only.

More often than not it keeps you alive.

Being disgusted, or grossed out is not the issue, but why would you be in such a state is.

Would you go Windigo on your loved ones?

...And Patrick Bateman is a fictitious character, from a novel by Brett Easton Ellis. Using his purported "feelings" to make any sort of general statement about psychopathy is dumb. This is especially true concerning Bateman's character within the context of the narrative of "American Psycho". As the protagonist, Pat embodies the irreconcilability of "the normal pursuits" of a typical yuppie jetsetter, and the dark underbelly of the reality it propagates, by associating these with the vilest, most base psychopathic archtypes. It's a brilliant exposition of the hypocrisy and duplicity of western society, but it is not a sound means by which to assess actual psychopathic traits. Jussayin'. :P

I can't think of any time I've ever felt those feelings except for disgust at the stupidity of my inferiors. And thats honestly more arrogance and narcism then disgust.

Thanks Eddie. You're not so bad with them yourself- especially considering that English is not your mother tongue. You'd write clever little circles around me easily, in Swedish. :D

Once ive found a maggot in a cheesburguer. ive just stoppe eating but i didn't felt disgust; ive just stopped eating it because you dont eat maggots. I called the waitress, showed to him everything really low and discreet and then I left the place camly:

I get disgusted nearly everyday... dealing with simple people tends to disgust me... can't wait for amazon to start delivering my Whole Foods to my house via drones. Life will be so much better...

Become a recluse. That's such a healthy thing for your kids to witness!

seem to have gotten ur attention...

assuming I was being serious for a moment, let us take your premise it would be a bad thing to be a recluse... i don't think it so bad, quite responsible on my part actually. It would b a very bad thing for either of my sons to witness their father being tassered and arrested for choking the shit out of some ignorant fuck at a Walmart... work around your obstacles, avoid triggers, be responsible.

but then again... you're just funning with aren't you? giving me that much "needed" supply you think i'm looking for... u r so cute. Athena, the warrior [princess]... i return that supply in kind;-)

You've got that recluse and being responsible for your own disgusting stuff part right.

Solitude helps a lot when patience runs out and you suck at the tolerance bit.

I think it even beats other adaption techniques like charm and doing favors.
